Many years have passed since artist Ijahway started to play music here and there.

How could we define his music? Well, it is a blend of conscious lyrics, energetic vibes with a husky voice. Deep and grave, stained by human conditions, inspired by real experiences and not fictions. A mix of reggae, new roots, ragga, blues, rock and world influences.

From his native land of Portugal through Europe and Africa, his travels has sharpened his understanding of the world situation: citizens struggling with corrupted politics.

A freedom fighter who uses words and music to defy Babylon. A soul rebel inspired by The Almighty to perform his work, for every man has a gift and every man has a mission.

Versatile, multicultural and multitask, he is the owner of his own independent label named Ijahway Productions, as well as the leader of the fundraising project called Brigada da Paz, sponsoring orphans worlwide.

For the man believes that one teach one, one help one. All together, humanity could achieve a better outcome if only they would put their trust in themselves instead of politricks.

Benaïssa Linger

Success is no stranger to Benïssa. Back in 1996 he founded the first Dutch singing r&b-rap-reggae combination group called Arnhemsgewijs. Lloyd DeMeza was invited to be the lead singer of the group. The result was two top 5 single hits and a hit album in the Netherlands.
In 1998 Benaïssa, that time known as Kenny Wise, toured Germany and Europe as the opening act for such reggae dignitaries as Michael Rose, Michael Prophet and Frankie Paul.
Benaïssa is one of the few real talented reggae singer/songwriters from the Netherlands and proved, by opening the Sean Paul show in The Hague in 2003, that he is able to rock a massive crowd.
Since then Benïssa has been a regular performer on the Dutch scene with solo single releases that have reached the Dutch top 100 music charts.
Benaïssa continues to hone his songwriting skills, and the quality of his music and lyrics have attracted many talented artists. Working on a worldwide release with established talents Lloyd DeMeza, Benjah, General Degree, Ayya, Lady G, and TinQ, with backing tracks laid down by musicians Sharp Axe Band stationed in Germany, Benaïssa has put together a collection of songs that cover the spectrum of human experience.

JAH THOMAS

REAL NAME: NKRUMAH MANLEY THOMAS

BORN: AUGUST 27. 1955. KINGSTON, JAMAICA.

JAH THOMAS, the name is now synonymous with reggae music, good reggae music. In Jamaica Thomas has worked along side the great names; COXSONE, GIBBS, AND 'GG'

In the mid 70's it was 'GG' who first recorded Thomas. Influenced by Errol Holt, they put Thomas in the studio and recorded 'Midnight Rock' produced by 'GG' and released in 1977.
The follow-up single was a tune called “The Girl Them Love Me” produced by Joe Gibbs. In fact Gibbs, along with Channel One, were the first people Thomas contacted when he decided to become a singer. But the producers concluded that it was Thomas's ability to "fast talk" that was his real talent thus he became, for a period, “the hottest toaster” in Jamaica.

To date Thomas as a singer has worked with all of Jamaica's top producers. He recorded with the legendary Sonia Pottinger, the first woman producer on the male predominated scene. Their collaboration brought Jah Thomas his third hit single, titled; 'Tell Me The Truth.' Other hit singles followed; “Come Nurse” and “Shopkeeper” - produced by Joe Gibbs.

In 1979 Thomas decided to go solo. His self produced single 'CRICKET LOVELY CRICKET' was a smash! The success of the record was such that it reached the “bubbling under” position of the UK national charts!

Back in Jamaica an album produced by Junjo Lawes entitled “Dance Pon The

Corner” was released. This album was for local release only and in the UK on import only.

Other hits followed with “Shine Eye Girl” - Barrington Levy. and “Heard It On The News”.

1980 saw the release of the first DUB LP “BLACK ASH DUB” on Trojan. Jah Thomas was a predominant name on that album. Also in that year Jah Thomas and Silver Camel joined forces, “DANCEHALL STYLEE” (SCLP 005)' was the first production. The album attained the coveted Number One position on the reggae LP charts! And as a measure of it's success, the album is still very much in demand.

It is as a producer that Jah Thomas is now making his name. Thomas’s exceptional work can be heard on the debut album by Little John on the Midnight Rock label entitled “Reggae Dance”.

Thomas has produced for many of the greats in reggae including:

RANKING TOYAN, BARRINGTON LEVY, ANTHONY JOHNSON, ELFIGO BACCA, LITTLE JOHN. BARRY BROWN, AND JNR KEATING, to name a few.

In 2003 Silver Kamel and Jah Thomas reconnected in a dancehall style. New and revived dancehall classics will soon be coming your way, as this collaboration intends to heat up the dance and “mek we irie inna di dance”.

Come Fi Conquer LTD is a music publishing house. It's operated by Directors Gibsy Rhodes (SpringlineRecords) and Digi Roots (Roots Lab Intl).

It was founded in January 2012 by Yabass Yaba Radics & Gibsy Rhodes.

Come Fi Conquer recently acquired the SpringlineRecords/SpringlineJamaica catalogue.

The company has also just published the debut album from UK roots songstress Ras Sis Highness entitled "Temptation" also on it's way is an album by Dub engineer 'Doktor Lond' with vocals from Agarfa.

The Springline back catalogue will be researched with some great releases on the cards.
