PLEASE NOTE!

YouTube has changed the embed code and you may have difficulty placing them. They have changed the size to 640x385 with 'code' that states 'fullscreen'...

I have found the best way to add a You Tube video is to use the YouTube icon in the Entry text box, it's on the bar, and simply add the YouTube code and leave the default size to be 350x300.

You can also add a YouTube video as a VIDEO in your profile. In the 'Video Caption' box, type your caption text, click on the YouTube icon and again simply add the YouTube embed code.

Make sure you get all the code between /v/ and the &: youtube.com/v/LiSLIVOtv_k&hl=en_US&fs=1&rel=0"> In this example the code is: LiSLIVOtv_k

Sorry for the inconvenience, they must have their reasons for doing this.

Bless......... Kamel

Graphics.....
Many of the graphic boxes on this site use the 'wide screen format'
instead of the 'old square format'.

So if it looks like the bottom of your graphic is cut off, simply upload a new photo or artwork and size it to be about 500wide by 300high. 500x300.

To add an external link to your own website or to a download site where you have zip files you need to insert the FULL site address:

http://www.YourSiteAddress.com

in between this code: your site address here

so the end result is:

http://www.myREGGAEspace.com

How to Upload your music.... SteveX

Uploading Tracks FAQ

HiFi, Lo Fi, Vault - which should I upload?
Well, it depends how you want to distribute your music, but you will likely fall into one of two camps:

CAMP 1: If you just want your songs to be heard upload a good quality Hi Fi MP3. Set it to Streaming Only, or allow Downloading as well if you want people to be able to play it on their MP3 players.

CAMP 2: If you want to sell the track, select your good quality Hi Fi MP3 and set to "1 minute preview". Then select the track you are selling, (likely a 320kbs MP3 or a lossless flac, wav or aiff - it is this improved quality that will encourage people to buy your work). You are not limited to uploading just the audio file as the vault item - you can zip it up with artwork, perhaps an uncompressed version and an mp3 as well, lyrics, chordsheets, video - the better the package, the more inviting to a purchaser). Our vault is entirely secure (hence the name "vault"), as is the preview system for the Hi Fi MP3 - people cannot "steal" your work at the high quality without paying for it. If you are a signed artist, your contract will likely require this level of security. Note that you also have the option to make your vault items free to download for short/long-term promotional campaigns.

When you upload your HiFi Track, it is automatically converted to a 64kb/s mp3. If you would like this to be displayed on your site set this to Streaming Only, and if you would like it featured on our House Radio playlist please tick the "Make Available For Radio Streaming" box.

As the site stands now MP3 trax are uploaded into the SONGS tab in the Control Panel. These trax are available then for listening and /or downloading (FREE) when uploading a HIFI file, the LOFI is auto created.
I recommend a HIFI file of 96kbps for fast delivery for streaming only and up to 192kbps for a HIFI file if you want to allow a free download from that section. The LOFI is auto created and is 32kbps.
If you want to sell trax…. Then upload a HIFI of 96kbps in the HIFI section and a HQ file to sell in the VAULT section, this is typically 256kbps or HQ-VBR. Then you get happy listeners ‘cos of the fast streaming and when they buy they receive a good quality file they can play on their systems.
ONLY trax that are for sale will show up in the MP3 Store from the HOME page tabs.

In the Control Panel home page there is also a VAULT tab - which after I finish this new upgrade testing on my test site I am going to change the name to Digi-Store or something similar.
Anyhow in this VAULT tab you can upload a ZIP file of a CD or LP or collection of singles for the buyer to download. They just can’t play anything from this section and it shows up in the Digital Downloads section of your yard as you can see here in my yard:
