Clothing brand with strong influences from the reggae and hip hop community.
The greatest football players of today all started on the streets. Most young football players dream of one day becoming a professional player. So the streets portray an image of young players practicing and tweaking their skills to hopefully one day, achieve this goal. This generation of football player has created its own community and own way of life. They listen to their own music, have their own dress code and speak their own language. But above all of this they can do amazing things with a ball. Throughout the years, the game of football, the skill level and technique has advanced so much that a style called 'freestyle football' has been created. Whether it's on the streets or at an indoor/outdoor pitch, you can always find an unorganized pick up game. These games and competitions have their own rules. This is gladiator school and it's all about your skills, technique, and street creditability. The ultimate goal is not only to win but also to show how bad you can embarrass your opponents.
This phenomenon exploded so much the last years in Holland that in 2001 Nordin Wooter (Champion's League winning Ajax, Zaragosa, Watford, Panathinaikos) decided to create an international platform for street football players, thus the birth of Masters of the Game (MOTG). Many other famous Dutch and international football players support Nordins? initiative and are now ambassadors for Masters of the Game, because they all understand the value of street football as a basis to become a professional football player. Together they all consider it an honour to do something for the game and their friends from the street.
MotG encourages young people to play football in the streets. It stimulates the development of their football skills, social and sports abilities. Since its incorporation, MotG has organized a number of wildly successful Street Football Events. Apart from these events, MotG organizes street football & freestyle clinics and workshops and has its own merchandising line. All of MotG's events are an experience where sport, music and entertainment are the center of attention. MotG is engaged in promoting the game of street football at its highest level as well as being an authority on the game we also organize and attend events internationally. MOTG has organized and attended numerous events. Our events are special because beside all the excitement around street football we also include music and lots of entertainment. The formula for MOTG is various competition forms of street football and more importantly the creation, promotion and marketing of products for this 'lifestyle'.
