Biography

DUB-POET EMINENT

Rootsman writes mystifyingly, eclectic poetry that deals with secularism, spirituality and sedition; fusing it with the strong beat of the Reggae Dub Riddim.

His word barrage, filled with scorn and contempt for those who profess to be national leaders of the people, yet the poor only get poorer and there's no mercy for the downtrodden:

"The Priest, the Politician and the Freedom Fighters
consorts and associates of falsehood"

The intransigence of Tradition, Culture and Religion. The inviolabilty and enshrining of one religion over and above others:

"To swear in god's name is a vindication
of imposing your faith as the only truth"

The adherence to dogmatic belief systems which rule and control our lives, founded on myopic and selfish ideals forstered by vain men.

"You serve only that in which you believe
with knowledge and without knowledge"
